Rachel Khoo

In recent years we’ve shot two Food Network / Discovery+ cooking series & TV specials, and content for NHK Japan, Afternoon Tea, and IKEA Japan.

Rachel is a joy to work with. The first undertaking was Discovery+/Food Network’s “Simple Pleasures” during the first wave of COVID. In a bubble in rural Sweden, Matt & Rachel shot the entire series, streaming to Director/EP Pete Lawrence in the UK.

Rachel Khoo’s “Chocolate” series & “A Chocolate Christmas” special were then shot in the summer of 2020, with a small crew under COVID protocol. This included studio & location shoots.

Again, the three-camera kitchen was directed from Bristol via Skype link, with Director Andy Clarke officiating. Field direction & A-camera by Matthew Gormly.

Since “Chocolate”, the team have produced projects for IKEA Japan, NHK Japan, and Afternoon Tea.
