Xmas Special 2021

Here's a Xmas special Travmatt produced for Kalmar Länsmusiken, the regional music body for Xmas 2021.

"Det tomma huset” (The Empty House) is a story of a house that’s fallen into a dark slumber following a heartbreak years before. Finally the spirit of the house awakens and breathes light, warmth, and music back into its rooms.

The film was an extremely fast turnaround. Shot in 10-hours on a great location near Kalmar, with a micro-crew of Matthew Gormly as Director/DP and his 16yo daughter Linnéa Widegren-Gormly assisting - so quite an achievement. Cut by Sebastian Malm in a blisteringly quick two days, so delivered in about a week from the initial client contact.

A salute to the marvellously talented musicians & artists featured on-screen, some of the best in Sweden, and those behind the scenes. And a toast to the co-operative & willing nature of all involved befitting a Xmas project. Our kind thanks.
