We closed out 2018 with a win at the Pearl Awards for “Best Use of Social Media”. Spoon Stockholm’s “Team Preem” scooped the prize following a successful campaign built around the world-famous Vasaloppet ski race.

Fronted by former world champion and Swedish living legend, Gunde Svan, the essence of the campaign was that Gunde would coach three candidates for the big race, and ultimately ski the race with one lucky candidate.
There were six video elements. From the initial green-screen call to arms, to four coaching episodes, and the final film being the big race. On the tracks, conditions were brutal, dipping below -10C some days and taking the production equipment to the edge of it’s operational capacity.
